DFC Gives Back to Its Communities with Multiple Donations
This year the Central Dakota Frontier Cooperative (DFC) Board of Directors has approved multiple monetary donations to various organizations in the local communities that it serves. This year’s donations are focused towards local emergency services such as ambulance and fire departments as well as local food pantries and FFA education.
With the support of the Land O’ Lakes Foundations Member Coop Match program, DFC was able to contribute over $80,000 to the community organizations across its service area.
“We know how critical it is to have emergency services and food pantries in our rural communities, and we are happy to be able to put funds towards keeping these programs operating”, said Chris Heidrich, DFC CEO. “As a community-focused cooperative, we are proud of the fact that we remain committed to our local needs.”
DFC is an agricultural and energy cooperative with headquarters in Napoleon, ND. We currently serve 10 different communities throughout Western and Central North Dakota.
